How sales are harvested. If encountered a genie in a bottle that gave me three wishes to come true, this would be it. The ability to create high conversions out of my effort marketing and be known as a conversion specialist wizard. The last wish I’ll keep for myself till a later post.
What is known and talked about is barely based on what tools to use to create conversion. Everything from video, blogging, photography, newsletters, website, social media and other advertisement platforms. Agencies has different approach to help their clients with a better conversion rate based on what they are specialized in. In the end, everything comes to the same common fundamentals of interest, to get the to the consumers point of attention, buying prosses and adaption. If someone asked me which marketing tool is the best one to do this, I would not be able to give them an answer. Companies are different with different stories. This creates different approach and production strategies for each budget. The tools to use to give the end consumer an authentic picture of what they are buying are not relevant. What matters is how well they are willing to communicate with their market and associates. Believe it or not, but major deals are still being made thru a written letter or a phone call. How to communicate your message is the real question that should be answered. So, by my opinion an agency should not promote their tools. An agency should promote their ability to define a company’s story. That is a good starting point to reveal the essence of a business culture and why their clients should buy from them. – my message to the marketing business is to end the madness. I don’t want to buy a commercial, I want the real product.
The game is changing. Consumers want more information, more reliable information and not just satisfying the necessary need. Communication and interaction in motion. To rank high on google is not the full potential anymore. There is so much more to it, if good relationships are to be created between the supplier and the buyer. Reading about bragging on the website just don’t cut it.
A product must gain credibility. Conversion is all about the roots of the tree. The very foundation of a products image and message to the world. With foundation as the keyword, and by strengthen the very definition of it. A product becomes “Brand”, resilient.
When usually talking about communication and marketing, most of us think about the market mix and how to lead our clients in to solve their problems with the very solution we have to offer. I think different. A company consists of layers, one of them is the one we want to be perceived as. This is the common layer that is exposed thru campaigns and commercials. The layer I want companies to show more of, is the one that is not usually seen. The truth.
Inspired by documentaries, I truly believe that by letting others see and experience the company from different angles, creates loyal customers because they feel attached to the story. And not just financial intentions, but the big picture. There is so many stories in every single company out there that is not known, that could be a part of their marketing strategies. Entertainment together with it, a weapon is launched for the better good. Layers underneath the surface, you find regular people with dreams, ambitions, struggles, challenges and ideas they want the world to be part of. Let them be part of that dream and conversion is already made.
